This is a lovely, whimsical one of a kind genuine freshwater pearl and antique shell pendant necklace.

I have used a beautiful chunky Victorian shell. When I bought it, stones were missing and it was looking for a new purpose in life! I I replaced the missing stones and converted it into a pendant - I have tried to research what it previously was and the most likely conclusion was that it was the end of a hat pin or similar item. It is a chunky, substantial antique shell and has some gentle signs of age and use - please see photos.

I paired this lovely old shell with shimmering ‘oilslick’ genuine pearls in a dark greeny - black colour. It is finished with a signature Shh by Sadie tag.

This necklace is a one of a kind, combination of antique and new elements and so you will never see any one else wearing the same necklace!

Length approx 41cm.

I enjoy repairing and re-designing broken or unwanted vintage jewellery so that it can be worn and loved once again.
