Beaded leather tassel necklace with sterling silver chain - custom order

Here's a peek at another recent custom order I made. The client had a very specific necklace she wanted to design for one of her best friends, including colours, textures, chain lengths and style. It's sometimes easier working with a client who knows exactly what they want, as I can just go ahead and make it! :)

There are some photos of the finished necklace below - it was a handmade leather tassel, beadwork around the tassel, and a mid-length fine silver chain.

If you have a piece of jewellery that you'd like to redesign, or fix, you can get in touch here.

Custom order: redesigned sterling silver Pacific pearl earrings
Black pearl earrings

I recently worked on a custom order with a pair of beautiful Pacific Island pearls. They were set as sterling silver studs, and my client preferred drop earrings.

We worked together to design and reset them as the sterling silver diamante drop earrings below - and they looked gorgeous! They are such a stunning pair of Pacific Island pearls, and now dangle beautifully from their new setting.

If you have a piece of jewellery that you'd like to redesign, or fix, you can get in touch here.

Travel diary: take me back to Fiji! (Part two)

After a wonderful stint in at the Westin Denarau we took a boat out to Musket Cove Resort on Malolo lailai Island, Fiji. This was the third time I stayed at Musket and despite the weather being occasionally overcast, there was plenty of pool-time, snorkelling, delicious food and, most importantly, cocktails!

We were greeted on arrival with fresh coconuts, locally made clay bead leis and a chilled flannel, which was perfect for freshening up. The resort is beautiful and I'd highly recommend staying in the lagoon bures. It's fun watching the crabs and fish from your own balcony, and there was a stunning sunset every evening.

I took my giant pink flamingo with me (his name is Frank), and he saw plenty of action in the pool - kids young and old loved diving onto him and lazing in the water! Take me back!
