Custom pearl wedding anklets

Simple and elegant freshwater pearl anklets for a summer 2021 wedding! The bride-to-be wanted pearl anklets with one single star pearl at the centre of each, and we chose to finish them with a sterling silver heart shaped toggle clasp for an added touch of romance :-)

The anklets will look beautiful on the big day, and can also be worn time and again as a reminder of the special day.

Swarovski crystal and rose gold pearl bridal bracelet - custom made
swarovski wedding bracelet pearls swarovski heart

Here’s a beautiful one of a kind bridal bracelet I made for a 2020 wedding in Cyrpus. The bride wanted rose gold to match her rose gold earrings, and fell in love with the bright vibrant orange and reds in these shimmering Swarovski crystals.

We decided on two rows of slim white freshwater pearls, with a touch of Swarovski crystal, and finishing it with an elegant Swarovski crystal charm!

A one of a kind piece for a beautiful one of a kind wedding!

A last minute lockdown wedding in Wales!
custom bridal jewellery welsh wedding

Here’s a little something I knocked up rather swiftly for a beautiful lockdown wedding in Wales!

The bride and groom were originally going to be married in the summer of 2020, and then due to covid, changed their date to the end of October….and THEN Wales announced a second lockdown, and so within 36 hours the wedding was brought forward to just a few days away!

Can you imagine the stress and organisation the bride and groom had! But they worked very hard and pulled off an elegant and beautiful small wedding celebration, and plan to have their big party in a year or so!

Jewellery-wise, the bride wanted customised jewellery for her bridesmaids, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, grandmother, and a little something for herself!

We discussed options and decided upon woven heart bracelets for her bridesmaids in her wedding colours, with the heart pattern also being lovely and romantic for a wedding! She chose a metallic dark grey, royal blue, and dusky lilac.

For her wedding party, she chose simple creamy pearl bracelets with shimmering grey Swarovski pearls, to bring in the grey of her wedding colours.

And for herself, she chose simple silver hoops with a single heart shaped pearl. They were delicate and elegant, and she can also wear them regularly after her wedding day, and so will have a memento she can get regular use of and remember her special day.

Due to the change in date, these jewels were prioritised and I made them all in just two days - and so always get in touch even if it’s a tight turnaround, I will do my absolute best to help you out!

Bridal hen party jewellery workshop in Plymouth - Royal William Yard
bridal hen party workshop plymouth devon

I recently teamed up with haberdashery + workshop provider Make at 140 to teach a hen party workshop in Plymouth!

The bridal party wanted to make freshwater pearl and crystal bridal hair combs that they would wear on the big day. How exciting!

Well, I had never made a hair comb before, let alone taught somebody to make one! But when Lizzy from Make at 140 asked if I would be interested in teaching the workshop I was sure I could teach myself in time!

I started by Googling images of wedding hair accessories so that I could check what type of hair comb the bride would like, and then used YouTube to teach myself wire beading techniques. LOL. Honestly, I don’t use YouTube enough - there are so many useful tutorials on there, I’d recommend looking up WHATEVER you’re trying to learn and see what you can find next time!

On the day of the workshop we had a beautiful large workshop space at Ocean Studios in Royal William Yard, Plymouth. Lizzy had organised tea, coffee and fresh pastries for the group - and it was my lucky day because I got to snaffle the spare pastry! :p

The hen party all made a variation of the same style of hair comb, using a combination of grey and white freshwater pearls, glass crystals and silver wire.

You can see photos from the workshop below, including their finished bespoke wedding hair accessories! I think they did an amazing job!
